UX&UI / Art Director
Project developed for the historic Italian “Istituto Canossiano Barbara Melzi”.
The institute brags over 170 years of history in the world of education and includes 8 fields of study. Each course of study was, and is, identified by a distinctive color.
The intent was to make navigation clear and reduce the number of pages while maintaining the same content. Frequently school or university sites are overfilled with information and the possibility of user interaction, alike due to the many updates that are made over time and to the inclusion of new information and specifications. Via a clean and minimalist style, we tried to condense the information in the cleanest and most readable way possible.
Now all helpful information is available on a single page, the user no longer has to navigate an infinite number of pages to read or download the necessary information. Geometry and blank space play an absolute function, such as the typeface and colors. The essential is the key to the project without neglecting the aesthetic sense.
